Children absorb the behaviours they see.
Children love their parents so much that they will often imitate them and remain loyal to their Father’s and Mother’s behaviour, even if they may realise that the patterns are not always healthy ones.
Children will unconsciously pick up and hold pain, or other unresolved issues for the parents.
Preaching does very little and often disconnects parent and child.
